Well, first of all, let’s see what they’ve changed in this GTE model. First, we must mention that the GTE stand for Enhancement.
The exterior has the same styling details like the GT-H model, large front grille and slightly raised hood with splitter at the bottom of the front bumper. But the biggest accent has been given on the performance of this 2017 Shelby Mustang GTE. This model will be offered with two engine options, the 2.3 liter EcoBoost and the 5.0 liter Coyote engine.
But as always, we are more interested in the most powerful option for this 2017 Shelby Mustang GTE. The larger powerplant is the naturally aspirated Ford’s 302 cubic-inch, 5.0 liter Coyote small-block V8 engine, rated at 456 horsepower and 424 lb. -ft. of torque. For those who wants more power there is an optional supercharged version with 670 or 750 horsepower. Also is equipped with an upgraded racing suspension, high performance Wilwood six-piston calipers with vented rotors and a Borla exhaust system.
