General Motors officials, unexpected have revealed the new 2019 Chevrolet Camaro. Moreover, the first impressions are very positive, which also bring some novelties on this lineup. However this new Camaro might be a little bit disappointing among Chevy enthusiasts, so let’s jump in and see what’s new at this 2019 Camaro.
Although it’s based on the same 6th Gen Camaro platform, the body is completely redesigned. This redesign has affected the complete Camaro lineup, but we are interested mostly in the SS and 1LE coupe versions.
As you can see from the photos, the front face now gets new LED headlamps, larger grille, which improves cooling, better aerodynamics, functional hood scoop for extracting the engine heat and repositioned Chevy Bowtie badge which now is on the bumper. At the back there is not significant changes, only the new redesigned LED taillights.
The only thing that will be new at the SS model is the 10-speed automatic transmission borrowed from the ZL1. This 10-speed will have paddle shifters as an option, launch control and line lock features.
