Original Steve McQueen’s Bullitt Mustang Sold for Record $3.74 Million

A few months ago we have made an article about the original Steve McQueen’s Bullitt Mustang, and how he came back from the dark ages. At that time Hagerty has confirmed his authenticity and has estimated his value between $3 million to $5 million. However, now it came back at the Mecum auction house. Yes, it was for a sale at Mecum Kissimmee 2020, and believed or not it was sold for a record $3.74 million dollars. This Steve McQueen’s Bullitt Mustang is one of the most highly valued classic muscle cars ever and in general classic Ford model. As an example, in 2014 at Mecum Auction 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible achieved the price of 3.5 million dollars which became the most valued Mopar ever.
