Stock Challenger Hellcat VS Modded Cadillac CTS-V

Here we have another drag race between the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT HEMI Hellcat and the first generation 2004 Cadillac CTS-V. Both are high performance vehicles, with rear wheel drive. Before we see the race, let’s first meet their performance. The famous Challenger Hellcat it’s powered by a Chrysler’s 6.2 liter Supercharged SRT HEMI Hellcat V8 engine, rated at 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque.

On the other side this first generation 2004 Cadillac CTS-V is modified and is using Corvette Z06 engine and manual transmission. We don’t have information which Z06 engine is using this CTS-V. In the video we can see that the CTS-V and the Hellcat have a good start, but the Hellcat instantly gains an advantage and take the victory with a time of 11.27 Sec @123. 22mph. While the CTS-V had the time of 11.96 Sec @115.20mph.

  1. Looked like the driver of Challenger treed the Caddy driver both times. Wonder if it would have been closer if the Caddy driver’s reaction time had been better?
