Today’s 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is absolutely gorgeous piece of American automotive history. The ‘69 Charger is built on Chrysler’s B-body platform and belongs to the mid-size muscle car category. That put this Dodge in direct clash with the Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac GTO, and Ford Torino.  However, let’s get back to this classic Mopar which recently has been completely restored.     

The body of this 1969 Dodge Charger R/T has been turned into a flawless black beauty with gorgeous chrome trim. In contrast to his black body, there is an awesome R/T badge with red letters at the back section of his body. The interior follows the same principles as the exterior, simple, gorgeous, and in factory condition. Inside it is equipped with spotless light brown vinyl upholstery in combination with chromed details, and also a carpet with the same color.

The luxurious interior is well equipped right from the factory with an AC climate control unit, AM-FM radio and cassette player, comfortable front bucket seats with harnesses, and a center console with woodgrain inserts in the middle. Behind the three-spoke steering wheel, the dashboard also has woodgrain inserts and circular gauges which give all the vital engine information. Whether, you sit up front, or at the back, you are getting the same feeling of comfort and luxury.  

1969 Dodge Charger 383 Magnum Engine

Speaking about the engine, this 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is powered by Chrysler’s 383 cubic-inch, 6.2 liters big-block Magnum V8 engine. With a four-barrel carburetor on top, this engine produces 325 horsepower and 425 lb.-ft. Of torque. The engine power is transferred via three-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. The awesome stance comes from the stunning old-school brushed aluminum US-Mags Indy U101 wheels which are wrapped with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
