One of the stars at this year SEMA motor show, was this 1974 Plymouth Duster, called “Kasper”. Which has a lot of history behind him and still it is owned by the original owner, purchase in Mobile Alabama back in the ’74.
Beth raced this Duster in Pure Stock and Stock Eliminator class for fifteen years, and parked it with an intention to restore it one day.However, it was washed by the hurricane Katrina, where he lost most of his original parts.
However, after all Beth decided to give him a second life, which now has been restored and customized by the Goolsby Customs, and with a Hellcat heart under the hood. On the exterior has been given a two tone body color, white and orange. While the interior has been gorgeously redesigned with a white leather seats, brown dashboard and unique 70’s style Mopar pattern.
From a technical point of view, this 1974 Plymouth Duster it is powered by a modern Supercharged Chrysler’s 6.2-liter, 370 cubic-inch SRT HEMI Hellcat small-block V8 engine,factory rated at 707 horsepower and 650 lb. -ft. of torque. The unique two tone EVOD wheels are with dimension 18×7 up front and 18×11 out the back, which are connected with custom Roadster Shop chassis and secured with Baer six-piston calipers and vented rotors on all four wheels.
