This engine with a Rochester four-barrel carburetor on top produces 300 net horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque. The gearbox is Muncie M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed manual attached to the safe-t-track limited slip 3.42:1 rear-end.

Underneath it is equipped with a performance suspension package code Y99, with upsized sway bars, stiffer springs, and tuned shocks. Also has power front disc brakes and rear drums. This is a very rare bird because is one of the 82 units ever made in this configuration.
