This award-winning “Project Oculus” 1967 Pontiac Firebird Muscle Car was spotted at the 2018 Good Guy’s PPG Nationals, built by Snake Pit Customs, and thanks to ScottieDTV we have an opportunity to sneak peek inside this orange beast. So let’s jump in, and see what is so special about this custom 1967 Pontiac Firebired.
First, we can spot some body modifications, however nothing overkill. It has been given some modern touches, such as wider fenders and carbon fiber elements. Up front, the carbon fiber splitter gives an outstanding sport and an aggressive look, which also improves stability in corners at high speeds. At the rear, there is a carbon fiber spoiler in combination with a diffuser.
However, the interior has been dramatically changed, because after all this ‘67 Firebird it is a racecar and has been left with only basic interior element. On the other hand, it is upgraded with a Recaro bucket sport seats, Momo steering wheel, modern gauges and roll cage. So, probably the most important at this 1967 Pontiac Firebird Muscle Car is the engine and the suspension.
