They call it “the King of the Muscle Cars”, maybe thinking about the ‘70 model year. However, this custom 1966 Chevy Chevelle model is surly one of the best classic muscle cars. The owner Chris Jacobs, in the video below, explains how much and what kind of work is done on this car, especially on the suspension.
He says that this will always be an all-purpose Chevelle, street car first, Autocross second, etc. Whatever it is, it looks like a masterpiece to us. The interior of this ’66 Chevelle it is nicely customized, and it has a modern equipment as well. Custom black leather interior with Corbeau safety harnesses, custom center console, modern gauges, Vintage Air AC unit and a modern audio.
Although it has a vintage SS 427 badge, this Chevelle under the hood it is equipped with a modern Wegner Motorsports Chevrolet 427 cubic-inch, 7.0-liter LS7 small-block V8 engine. This engine generates 630 horses and it is equipped with a Rockland Tranzilla 6-speed manual transmission.
