What we are seeing today, probably is the most powerful 6th Gen ZL1 Camaro ever, which was built by Vengeance Racing tuning house. And we are not going to talk about it, because everybody knows the ZL1 Camaro, instead we will see the numbers that make this ZL1 so special.
But first, let’s see what has been changed to this ZL1. Completely rebuild factory GM’s 376 cubic-inch, 6.2 liter LT4 small-block V8 engine, which now has a VR1100 performance package. That includes: VR CNC ported cylinder heads, VR Stage II camshaft kit, LME billet intake manifold, AlkyControl dual nozzle methanol injection system, VR custom low-side fuel system, VR Auxiliary Fuel System, Vengeance PCM custom ECU calibration, Kooks stainless steel exhaust system and of course a Procharger F-1A-94 supercharger system with air to water intercooler.
With this configuration, this VR1100 6th Gen ZL1 Camaro produces 1,047 rwhp and 784 rwtq at 19psi of boost and C16 race fuel. With the factory 20-inch Camaro wheels equipped with Mickey Thompson Drag Radials and the new 10-speed automatic transmission, this ZL1 cross a 1/4 mile time in 9.58 seconds at 152.97 mph. Which makes him officially faster than the Dodge Demon.
