Today we got this absolutely gorgeous 1971 Dodge Demon 340. It is completely restored with beautiful red paint and all original sheet metal. Up front, there is a ram charger hood with a functional black fiberglass scoop and an awesome chromed front bumper and grille. The black vinyl stripes along the body are continuing all the way to the back where we can see the awesome black Go Wing on the decklid.
Inside this 1971 Dodge Demon 340, we can see the factory interior. It is simple with a black vinyl bench seat up front, Hurst manual shifter with a four-speed knob on top, radio delete, and heating control. On the dashboard, we can see the odometer showing only 38k miles, basic gauges, and a wood insert. Exactly how it came out of the factory back in ‘71.
Under the hood, this legendary Mopar has been slightly upgraded. it is powered by Chrysler’s 340 cubic inches LA small-block V8 engine. Equipped with Edelbrock 6077 aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake with three two-barrel carburetors on top, Tri-Power long tube headers, and Flowmaster exhaust produces an excellent 450 horsepower. The engine is attached by a 4 Speed manual A833 transmission. The 14-inch Dog Dish steel wheels are equipped with Goodyear E70 Polyglas tires. It is brand new, like from the factory. Enjoy the video.
