Today we have this good looking 1974 Plymouth Duster Restomod. As the smallest Mopar member, this Duster is based on a Chryslers A-Body platform, which share the same size with his twin brother, Dodge Dart. Nevertheless, this particular has been slightly upgraded, under the hood, and interior as well.
Inside this ’74 Duster, there is a completely new upholstery, which looks very good. The dashboard has been upgraded with modern gauges surrounded by an aluminum panel that gives a sporty feeling. Also, it has a modern sport steering wheel, Hurst 4-speed pistol grip shifter, and a comfortable bench seat.
Things get very interesting under the hood. Originally this 1974 Plymouth Duster was born with 318, however, now it is equipped with a 360 cu-in, 5.9-liter LA small-block V8 engine, although the stickers say 340. Equipped with aluminum heads and intake, M/T valve covers, headers, and a Demon carb on top this Duster probably produces more than 300 horsepower.
The suspension has been upgraded as well with performance strut rods, shocks, and a sway bar, and it has disc brakes up front with an 8 1/4″ rear end. The beautiful stance comes from the classic Mopar rally wheels wrapped with a BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. This Duster also has the gorgeous EB5 Blue body color and dual snorkel black hood, which make him irresistible.
