What would you call this 1969 Dodge Charger Hellcat, a Restomod? Probably not, because beside the ’69 classic face at this Mopar, everything else is brand new. It starts with a brand new Hellcat Challenger, which was stripped down till the frame and reassembled as a full carbon fiber ’69 Charger.
Nevertheless, it is absolutely awesome because beside the powerful engine under the hood the carbon fiber body gives another level of performance. In addition, that black carbon body at the same time it is very elegant and also badass. For the level of the equipment we are not going to talk about because everyone knows what’s inside.
However, we will mention that it is powered by Chryslers Supercharged 6.2 liter, 370 cubic-inch SRT HEMI Hellcat small-block V8 engine, producing 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. The Hemi V8 engine is connected to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear 20” five-spoke Boze wheels equipped with a Pirelli tires and secured with Baer brakes and rotors on all four wheels.
