Extraordinary V12 LS1 Powered 1967 Chevrolet Camaro
As always, we want to bring you closer the best muscle car stories, and today we have an extraordinary 1967 Chevrolet Camaro with an LS1 V12 engine under the hood, which for the first time appeared at the SEMA 2016 motor show. And probably you will say, there is no LS1 V12 engine, but this engine is 100% real and the team behind this project is from Australia.
As we said before, the base of this engine is General Motors LS1 small-block V8, but the V12LS.COM team has added four more cylinders and they’ve managed to succeed in their project. What they’ve created is a masterpiece and a wet dream of every hot-rodder and muscle car enthusiast.
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by prototype General Motors based 519 cubic inches or 8.5 liter, LS1 long-block V12 engine. This V12 engine with dual-quad injection fuel system on dyno produced 717 horsepower @ 6300 rpm and 627 lb.-ft. of torque @ 5600 rpm. Just imagine how much horsepower this engine will produce, boosted with a turbocharger or the supercharger. The V12LS.COM announced that this engine will be available from mid-2017 for those who want a unique piece of engineering.
