The HEMI engine is the most legendary V8 engine ever produced, with more than a half a century and millions of produced units. For sure is the icon in the automotive industry and also is one of the most powerful engines ever produced and installed in the serial production vehicles.
Yes, it is true, with the global warming and the high price of the fossil fuel, the big companies lately are taking dramatic steps in to reducing the Co2 emissions and pollution of the planet earth. Well, for someone that’s a good news, but unfortunately for the petrol heads and the American muscle car enthusiasts these a sad news.
Probably the HEMI engine will survive, but in a different form and with a different specification. That means it will be some kind of hybrid “electronically turbocharged” but not the old school V8 engine that we all love it. Probably the first engine that will replace the HEMI will be a Twin Turbocharged Chrysler’s Pentastar V6 engine, we don’t know for sure, but the time will tell. Enjoy the video!
