This Dodge Charger 1969 so-called CAPTIV is the latest creation to come out of Ringbrothers Spring Green, Wisconsin shop. It’s been built for the New Zeeland racing legend Greg Murphy, which represents the old school racing generations. This Charger CAPTIV started basically as a nice clean, rust-free project and evolved into a masterpiece equipped with a powerful engine and the latest technology.
This CAPTIV Dodge Charger 1969 is painted in a custom BASF “Pile up Yellow”, which basically is Porsche Signal Yellow body color with black Super Bee stripes at the back. The interior on the other hand is absolutely amazing. Inside it feels like a modern Mopar, equipped with leather Recaro seats, a custom billet aluminum steering wheel with carbon fiber inserts, and a unique modern designed Motec display dashboard and center console.
Under the hood, this CAPTIV Mopar is equipped with the legendary Chrysler’s SRT Hellcat engine, which is attached by a Bowler 6 speed manual transmission. On all four corners, it is equipped with high-performance Baer brakes, QA1 shocks carbon fiber driveshaft, also HRE two-tone wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
