The Swedes are world famous for their American muscle car enthusiasm. Therefore, today we have a classic 1968 Dodge Coronet, which is completely modified by Steven Jarudd, from Sweden. Moreover, it represents something in between a classic ’68 Coronet and a modern ’07 Charger SRT8.
As you can see, the classic ’68 B-body has been slightly modified, with a sunroof, bumpers has the same color as the body, front splitter, rear spoiler slightly raised above the decklid and a rear diffuser. Nevertheless, the interior it is completely reinstalled from a ’07 Charger SRT8.
However, not just the interior, but also the complete Driveline it’s from the 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8. Therefore, under the hood there is a Chrysler 372 cubic-inch, 6.1-liter small-block HEMI V8 engine, factory rated at 425 horsepower and 420 ft.-lb. of torque. This engine is bolted to a W5A580 5-speed Tiptronic transmission with rear-wheel drive.
