Probable most of you already knows the difference between the Challenger Redeye and the Dodge Demon. However today we are going to see the key components that makes these two Mopars unique, although in their veins flow the same blue blood.
The Challenger Redeye is powered by a detuned Supercharged 376 cubic-inch, HEMI small-block SRT Demon V8 engine. Unlike the Demon, this engine with 2.7 liter Supercharger produces “only” 797 horsepower and 707 lb.-ft. of torque and it is equipped with TorqueFlite 8HP90 eight-speed automatic transmission. Up front it has 6-piston Brembo brakes and 11×20-inch SRT wheels.
On the other hand The Dodge Demon has also Supercharged 370 cubic-inch SRT HEMI Demon small-block V8 engine. His 2.7 liter supercharger, can generates 14.5 pounds of boost and produces 840 horsepower and 770 lb. -ft. of torque. The engine is attached by a TorqueFlight 8HP90 8-speed transmission. Up front it has 4-piston Brembo and 11X18-inch Wheels. Also from factory is equipped with a street-legal Nitto NT05R drag radials.
