This “YearOne” 1969 Dodge Charger RT is considered for one of the grates Restomod, Pro Touring Chargers ever built. We have seen it many times before, but nevertheless this time we will make a small overview.
First of all at the first sight it looks badass, lowered with low profile wide tires. The orange metallic body with the black vinyl top is fabricated in perfection, while the aftermarket part list installed in this Charger R/T is endless.
We will mention just some of the most important equipment installed. As always, we will start with the engine. This 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is powered by naturally aspirated Chrysler’s Gen III 426 cubic-inch, 6.1 liter big-block Hemi V8 engine. This engine is completely rebuilt by Arrington Engines, and is capable of generating massive 640 horsepower and 570 lb. -ft. of torque.
The Hemi engine is connected by a Chrysler 545RFE five-speed automatic overdrive transmission system spinning the rear wheels via Moser Dana 60 rearend. The whole car lies on custom suspension, AlterKation coilover with tubular control arms at the front and Ghostworks fabricated four-link with coilover at the rear.
Braking performance comes from a Wilwood master cylinder and Baer 13-inch rotors with six-piston calipers. At the end beautiful Forgeline S03P 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels equipped with four BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW tires.
