They call him “The King of the Muscle cars” and yes, it is for sure. The Chevy Chevelle, the iconic American muscle car has been for decades one of the most desirable Chevy’s ever built. While this heavily modified 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle 454 LSX Convertible is one of the best examples of this legendary muscle.
The exterior and interior are incredibly fabricated till the smallest details. Where it has a combination of a classic charm with modern attitude. The interior has been completely customized and is equipped with a Vintage Air A/C, custom Autometer Sport Comp gauges, audio/video media center and complete gray leather upholstery.
The boys from Manns Restoration have equipped this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle with a naturally aspirated GM’s 454 cubic-inch, 7.4 liter small-block LSX V8 Crate engine, built by Don Hardy Racing Engines. With Inglese 8 Stack injection setup with EZ-EFI 2.0 this engine generates more than 720 horsepower.
The LSX engine sends the power via Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission system at the Ford 9-inch rear-end. This Chevelle lies on a full Roadster Shop chassis. The braking system is made by Wilwood with 6-piston up front and 4-piston rear calipers with vented rotors on all four corners. Also, it’s equipped with Forgeline wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
