1970 Plymouth GTX 440 vs 1969 Barracuda 383 – Epic Drag Race

It’s always a good time for a cool drag race, especially when it comes to Mopar cars. This time we have two classic Plymouth muscle cars against each other. The first one is the iconic 1970 Plymouth GTX equipped with a 440 cubic-inch, 7.2 liter big-block Super Commando V8 engine. With a 4-barrel carburetor, this engine produces 375 horsepower and 480 lb.-ft. Of torque.

On the other side, we have the legendary 1969 Plymouth ‘Cuda. It’s powered by a 383 cubic-inch, 6.2 liter big-block V8 engine. Also with a 4-barrel carburetors on top, this engine generates 330 horsepower and 425 lb.-ft. Of torque. In this drag race the GTX has more horsepower, but the ‘Cuda is lighter, and you can see the results in the end of the video bellow. Enjoy the Race!
