Overall, this legendary full-size American muscle car has been turned into a horsepower beast with premium comfort. Therefore, let’s dive into this custom Pontiac.
The Interior of this 1966 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 is amazing. Inside we can see completely new black leather upholstery on the seats. Speaking of the seats, the front seats are from Hellcat Charger. Behind the three-spoke steering wheel is a Dakota Digital cluster, a combination of digital and analog gauges. The Vintage Air climate control unit is controlled by the Roaster Shop Infotainment LCD screen, which also manages the audio system. The center console is upgraded with wood inserts, CNC machined aluminum details, a cupholder, and window switches. Overall, this interior is super comfortable for long cruising.
For this project, Roaster Shop has chosen a custom build Chevrolet-based Wegner LS3 small block V8 engine. This engine equipped with an Edelbrock supercharged on top produces 750 horsepower. The engine power is transferred via Bowler T56 6-speed manual transmission at the rear wheels. This engine also has custom headers and pipes with Borla mufflers at the end.
Underneath this 1966 Pontiac Catalina, 2+2 is equipped with a state-of-the-art Roadster Shop Fast Track Chassis with independent rear suspension and Fox RSV shocks on all four corners. All this makes this legendary classic American muscle icon a completely different vehicle with a modern attitude. For safety there are 14-inch Baer vented rotors with 6-piston calipers, while the 18-inch front provides the awesome stance and 19-inch back custom machined wheels, equipped with Bridgestone Potenza tires.
