The Villain – Astonishing 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback

The real super hero and the man who is responsible for this custom 1968 Ford Mustang is Jason Engel, and his team from the CR Supercars. Jason and his crew have built this custom 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback in just three weeks and their final product is just amazing.
This restomod, The Villain 1968 Ford Mustang is something that we haven’t seen before. The classic ’68 body has been completely modernized, which required a lot of work and painted in Bad Guy Orange color. On the other side the interior is customized, but not overkill. Inside we can find Procar Evolution Seats with 5-point Camlock seatbelts. The dashboard is simple, but it has all necessary features, like the Villain Custom Gauges, JVC CD-player and A/C unit.
This classic 1968 Ford Mustang, muscle car, has a modern heart under the hood. It is powered by an All-Aluminum Ford Racing 302 cubic-inch, 5.0 liter DOHC Coyote 4V Crate V8 engine with a 302 Boss intake on top. This engine generates 435 horsepower and 400 ft-lb of torque, but with the 302 Boss intake the power is increased up to 475 horsepower. The engine is bolted to a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, which spins 9-inch Strange Engineering rear-end.
The suspension is completely made by Detroit Speed Inc, which includes DSE sub-frame with Alumaframe Coilover up front and Quadralink Coilover rear suspension. The braking system is using Wilwood 6-piston calipers with massive 14-inch vented rotors on all four wheels. Also, there are 18-inch Forgeline wheels equipped with BF Goodrich g-Force Rival tires.
