The New 2017 Trans Am 455 Super Duty with 1000 Horsepower
TransAm Depot has presented their latest creation, the 2017 Trans Am 455 Super Duty at the International New York Auto Show. Where immediately attracted attention not only with his new design, but also with his powerful engine. Although we know that this Super Duty is built on the sixth-Gen Camaro platform, everything else it is in-house produced by the TransAm Depot, which through the years they have developed a high quality manufacturing process.
The unique exterior of this Trans Am 455 Super Duty is mainly built of carbon fiber, which includes shaker hood and hood scoop, front face and bumper with splitter, fenders with heat extractors, decklid and rear bumper. Inside we can see that the interior has been customized, which is made of black leather with 455 Super Duty emblems. Also, there are custom made floor mats, door panels and door sills with 455 Super Duty graphics.
This 2017 Trans Am 455 Super Duty under his carbon fiber hood it is equipped with a Supercharged General Motors 455 cubic-inch, 7.4 liter Gen-5 LT1 small-block V8 engine. This LT1 engine with a 2.3 liter Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger on top, is producing absolutely mind blowing 1000 horsepower and 1046 lb.-ft. of torque. Also the Super Duty is equipped with a 20-inch 10 Spoke Crawler Race Wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. While the braking performance comes from the Brembo six-piston up front and four-piston rear calipers with 15-inch slotted rotors on all four wheels. This 455 Super Duty will be made in a limited production number of only 50 pieces.
