This 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible it’s a wet dream for most Mopar enthusiasts, where beside his low production number, in 2014 at Mecum Auction achieved the highest price in the American automotive history.

1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible 4-Speed

Only eleven 1971 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda Convertible were ever produced, three of them had the 4-speed manual, which two of them were sold in the US. This particular Hemi ‘Cuda has a gorgeous Blue Metallic body with white vinyl convertible top. The gorgeous blue interior matches the exterior and gives a small contrast with the black dashboard and steering wheel.

But the Powertrain under his Shaker hood is what makes this Hemi ‘Cuda so special. Under the hood there is a Chrysler’s 426 cubic-inch or 7.0 liter big-block Hemi V8 engine, factory rated at 425 horsepower and 490 lb.-ft. of torque. The Hemi engine is bolted to a 4-speed manual transmission with a pistol grip shifter on top, which is connected to a Dana 4:10 gear ratio locking rear end. The beautiful blue wheels with chromed center caps are equipped with classic Goodyear Polyglas GT-F60-15 tires.
