From the technical aspect, Dodge announce in their latest teaser that there will be weight reduction, which might be up to 200 pounds less. Also the engine might be working on two different fuels, racing and regular. The rumors say that this Challenger will be the ADR (American Drag Racer), which probably they are expecting to run 1/4 mile time in low 10 seconds, but also because of the wide tires will be suitable for track racing.

And finally the engine, you all remember that recently Hot Rod Magazine announce the new twin-turbo Hellcat engine under the code name “Lucifer” which produces more than 800 horsepower. Probably this will be the engine that will be fitted in the new Demon. At the end, we will wait until the Dodge finally reveal this Demon Challenger at the New York auto show in April.
