This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS has a big history. Originally produced as silver painted from the outside, with a blue interior, inside, and a 307 cubic-inch V8 engine under the hood. The owner drove the car for many years and put many miles on it, which now is ready for a big change.
In the late 80’s the owner started with a restoration of this Chevelle in his own garage. He did a lot of the stuff himself, but there is so much work when it comes to the project like this. That is nearly impossible to be done by one man only. That is the moment when the V8TV crew takes over the project and did the rest of the job.
After the restoration, this 1969 Chevy Chevelle SS got a nice carbon flash metallic color with a factory stripes along the body. There are also some updates in the interior of this Chevelle, such as a Vintage Air unit, new black leather upholstery, new trim, audio and a center console.
Under the hood, this 1969 Chevelle it is equipped with a Chevrolet’s 462 cubic-inch, 7.5 liter big-block V8 engine. With aluminum Edelbrock intake and a Holley carb this engine produces around 450 horsepower. 4-speed TH400 automatic transmission is attached to the engine, which spins the 12-bolt 3.42:1 posi rear-end. In addition, it has a 17-inch Rocket Racing wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich tires.
