Check the New Widebody 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
While at the moment the new Dodge Demon has the title for the hottest and most powerful modern muscle car, the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat got a new update. Same as the Demon, the 2018 Hellcat model will have a wide body, or new set of fender flares.
Well, you might think that these changes aren’t new at all, but we must admit with this new package, the 2018 Hellcat looks amazing. Beside the new flares, inside the Hellcat we can notice small changes. First of all the interior has been refreshed with the new Vermillion leather color with white stitching and combination of matte and chromed details.
The technical aspect of the 2018 Hellcat Challenger remains the same with small changes. The engine under the hood is the Supercharged Chrysler’s 6.2 liter, 370 cubic-inch SRT HEMI Hellcat small-block V8 engine, with 707 horsepower and 650 lb. -ft. of torque. The engine is attached by either a TREMEC 6-speed manual or ZF 8-speed automatic transmission.
Brakes are Brembo, with 6-piston calipers and 15.4-inch vented rotors up front and 4-piston with 13.8-inch at the back. There are new 20 x 11-inch “Devil’s Rim” split-five spoke aluminum wheels wrapped with 305/35ZR20 Pirelli P-Zero tires. This Widebody 2018 Hellcat can be ordered in July, and will cost around $72,000 (contact your dealership) and is expected to arrive in dealerships later this year.
