Breathtaking 1969 Chevrolet Camaro “Under Pressure” by HS Customs
The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro has been always an inspiration for the custom builders, and this “Under Pressure” Camaro it is not an exception. This Pro Touring Camaro is built by the HS Customs team, which they have given a super clean design with amazing attention to details. They have used a PPG white body color with gold and gray accent, which give an amazing contrast to the overall concept design.
Many parts are made of one piece billet machined aluminum, like the unique front grille, headlight rings and most of the interior details. Speaking of the interior, it is completely customized with minimalist design which matches the overall design. Inside there are Corbeau seats wrapped in gray Italian leather, simple center console equipped with Restomod Air A/C unit, Mini iPad and completely hidden Kicker audio system. Also behind the custom steering wheel there are special designed Dakota Digital gauges.
The technical aspect of this “Under Pressure” Camaro is also impressive, under the hood it is equipped with a General Motors 427 cubic-inch LSX small-block V8 engine, custom build by Thomson Automotive. With a pair of Nelson Racing 72mm turbochargers, this engine produces 1,225 horsepower and 989 lb. -ft. of torque.
The engine is connected to a Hughes 4L80E transmission and torque converter which transfer the power to the Currie Enterprises 9-inch Ford rear end. The custom Evod Industries 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels are wrapped with Pirelli P Zero tires and all secured with Wilwood 14-inch slotted rotors with six-piston calipers.
