This absolutely gorgeous 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Holiday 442 Sport Coupe is considered for one of the most comfortable classic muscle cars. But here things get even better with the modern Supercharged LSA engine. The LSA engine gives outrageous performance to this cruiser, speed, drivability and fuel economy. Inside this Olds it is comfortable, while the modern air conditioner with a classic look makes this cruiser even more comfortable in the hot and sunny days.
The old 230 horsepower engine wasn’t enough for this classic Olds, so the owner decided to put a completely new modern engine with overdrive transmission. The powertrain for this 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass is Connect & Cruise Supercharged General Motors 376 cubic-inch, 6.2 liter LSA small-block V8 Crate engine. This LSA engine is factory rated at 556 horsepower at 6100 rpm and 551 lb.-ft. of torque at 3800 rpm.
But you will be surprised, the engine generates 560 horsepower at rear wheels only because of the cold air which comes from the excellent Ram Air system from the old engine. The LSA engine is attached by a 4L85E four-speed automatic transmission system which transfers the power at the Moser Engineering 12 Bolt rearend. Other cool equipment that is installed in this Olds are the upgraded Hotchkis Sport suspension, 17-inch American Racing wheels and the Wilwood disc brakes on all wheels.
