The 2016 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet it’s powered by a Supercharged Ford Performance 302 cubic-inch, 5.0 liter Coyote small-block V8 Cobra Jet engine. This engine with a Whipple 2.9 liter supercharger and an Aeromotive fuel system produces over 1000 horsepower. The engine is bolted to the 3-speed Ford Performance T4 Race automatic transmission, which spins Ford 9-inch rear-end.
On the other side this upgraded 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is powered by a Supercharged Chrysler’s 6.2 liter or 370 cubic-inch SRT HEMI Hellcat small-block V8 engine. But this engine with the upgrades produces 800 horsepower, also it is equipped with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and drag radial tires at the rear wheels. The 1/4 mile time of the Challenger is 10.17 seconds at 134.08 mph, while the Cobra Jet Mustang is 8.69 seconds at 155.68 mph.
