2020 Challenger Super Stock was revealed a few days ago and somehow came suddenly unexpected. Not as a model, but with the performances that have. So let’s dive in, and meet the numbers behind this Challenger Super Stock. First of all, it shares a lot of things with his older siblings, such as the RedEye and the Demon.
On the exterior, it has the already well known dual-snorkel hood borrowed from the RedEye. On the other hand, the 5-spoke SRT matte black wheels wrapped with a Nitto NT05R drag radial tires are the same that we have already seen at the Demon. The interior remains the same.
Now we are moving with the numbers because are the most interesting at this 2020 Challenger Super Stock. Because is a dedicated drag racer, and at the same time it is also a powerful street-legal muscle car. It has the same Supercharged Chryslers 378 cubic-inch, 6.2-liter small-block SRT HEMI V8 engine.
This updated engine now generates 807 horsepower, it can reach 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and run a quarter-mile in just 10.5 seconds, at 131 mph. These specifications make this Challenger Super Stock the most powerful V8 production car in the world (not including the Demon). So, it would be interesting to see this Super Stock in direct speed battle with the new Shelby GT500. What do you think?
